Robert Brevelle
​​ ​​Robert Brevelle is the Managing Director of Startup Evo, where he leverages over 20 years of building and leading world class companies, mergers and acquisition, engineering, and investments in early stage companies.

Robert’s experience includes C-level and executive positions at various public and private companies.  Robert was Managing Director of Tech Wildcatters, the leading B2B accelerator in the nation and consistently ranked in the top 10 overall accelerators.  Previously, Robert was President and Executive Director of the Board of e2v Inc, a $127M leading global provider of RF power, imaging, and semiconductor solutions.  He also served as a member of the Executive Committee for the $240M e2v technologies plc.
Robert held a variety of P&L and business development positions at Rockwell Collins, L-3 Communications, Raytheon, and DRS-Leonardo leading business units in excess of $450M.  He led R&D and CR&D with annual investments of up to $80M at multiple companies and full life cycle development projects in excess of $400M. Robert was the youngest executive in a Fortune 500 and Global 500 company.
Robert has worked at 4 successful tech startups as an engineer or executive in multiple markets: FinTech, Telecommunications, eCommerce, and HyperSpectral Imaging.  His M&A experience includes 12+ transactions ranging from $2M to $4.5B in the US, Canada, and UK. 
Robert is a member of multiple investment groups and venture capital funds to include TIG Investments, Soothsayer Ventures, Tech Wildcatters, and Trinity. In 2016, Robert successfully syndicated pre-seed and seed rounds for 3 startup companies. All investment rounds were fully funded and oversubscribed, and the rounds were closed, on average, in 2 weeks. Robert serves as a board member or corporate advisor for several companies.
Robert graduated with high honors with a bachelor and master degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.  He earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, and he is in the final stages of the doctorate program in Management Sciences and Operations Research.  Robert is a credentialed Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, and he is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
Robert is a life member of several organizations to include the Association of Old Crows, Association of the US Army, National Guard Association of the US, and Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association. He is also a member of the Project Management Institute, US Air Force Big Safari Association, National Association of Asian American Professionals, and the Silicon Valley Leadership Group.  Robert is a Founding Sponsor of the National Museum of the US Army.

Managing Director 
Steven Gehfeld
Steven Gehfeld is the Director of Operations for Startup Evo. He brings 15 years of environmental science, GIS, engineering, quality assurance, and wireless telecommunications experience to the company.

Steven’s experience includes technical, project, and departmental management at various public and private institutions.  Prior to cofounding Startup Evo, he was the Project Manager at Tech Wildcatters, the leading B2B accelerator in the nation and consistently ranked in the top 10 of all accelerators. Previously, Steven was a Project Implementation Manager at Ericsson, the global leader in wireless infrastructure.
Steven has held a variety of technical and management positions with Colorado State University, URS Corp, Versacom, and Ericsson.  He has been an avid market investor for over 15 years.  He has owned his own mortgage branch, and is currently a partner in TIG Investments and Soothsayer Ventures.  Steven also currently serves as an advisor to SD3D, a 3D printing solutions company.

Steven graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Geographic Information Systems, is Army certified as a Range Safety Officer II, and has received numerous certifications in project, contract, and organizational management.

Steven is a supporter of many organizations including the ASPCA, the National Museum of the US Army, Ducks Unlimited, The Ohio State University Alumni Association, the Stadium Scholarship Alumni Society, the Dallas Safari Club, and Sharing the Warmth.

Director of Operations
Benji Gershon
Benji Gershon is the Director of Sales & Marketing for Startup Evo, where he brings over 10 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing and venture capital. 

Prior to joining Startup Evo, Benji held executive level positions at various private companies & startups including Trilliant Systems, which focused on high-level 3D printing sales & acquisitions, and financial institutions such as United Texas Bank and 720 Investor LLC, where he worked with hedge fund managers and private equity firms helping them raise capital from high net worth individuals.

Mr. Gershon also co-founded beverage startup, Nocturnal Beverage Company, which was acquired in 2012, and most recently, was the Partnership Director at Tech Wildcatters, the leading B2B accelerator in the nation and consistently ranked in the top 10 overall accelerators. 

A talented musician, Mr. Gershon was accepted into the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and later enrolled in California State University in Northridge, CA with a focus in business administration. 

Director of Sales & Marketing

Douglas Lunn
Doug Lunn grew up in Southern California and Massachusetts, and currently resides in Dallas, TX. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Geology and Art from The University of Colorado at Boulder.

Upon completing his bachelors, he joined Vecta Oil and Gas, in the mineral acquisition team, and functioned as a ‘Land Man’ (Land Consultant) performing duties similar to a paralegal. While at Vecta, Doug also began consulting for Catalina Ventures, an A-Stage high technology venture capital fund based out of Irvine, California on advanced materials science.

Since making the move to Dallas, Doug has been working with startups that include a high-grade multi-layer graphene company out of Cal-Tech, a company producing a solid-state/rotational composite memory drive, and has also worked with a bio-medical cytokine inhibitor. 

Doug has been working with the startup community in Dallas since May of 2016, while working to get his MBA at SMU with emphasis in Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Management Sciences.
